Anne Armstrong has more than thirty years experience in technology journalism and publishing. She was a member of the Federal Computer Week launch team in 1987, and has worked on both the editorial and business sides. She began her career as a science journalist, and started Langley Publications, a research and newsletter company. Armstrong served as president of Virginia's Center for Innovative Technology (CIT) from 1999 to 2002. She holds degrees from Vanderbilt University and Johns Hopkins University, and represents 1105 on ABM's Government Affairs Committee.
Henry Allain has nearly two decades of experience in the technology industry, serving in a variety of sales, marketing, and management roles. He began his career at Xerox Corporation and Gartner Group, before joining 101 in 1999. Allain received his BA from Arizona State University. He is active on ABM's Publishers Committee.
Richard Zbylut, immediately prior to joining 1105, was Chief Information Officer and Vice President, Business Development, at Thunderbird, the Garvin School of International Management. In addition, he has held an array of strategic positions for American Communication Services, Motorola, and US West. Zbylut is a graduate of the University of Illinois, with an MS from the National College of Education and an MBA from the University of Denver.
Wendy LaDuke joined 101communications LLC in 2005, when her family's business, T.H.E. Journal, was acquired. She is an active member of the Consortium for School Networking, Centers for Excellence in Learning and Teaching, and State Educational Technology Directors Association. LaDuke is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach.
Adam Schaffer most recently was the publisher of Tradeshow Week, part of Reed Business Information; his prior experience includes Penton Media, Worth Interactive, and The Daily Journal Corporation. Schaffer has a BA from the University of Southern California and an MA from the Annenberg School for Communication. He currently serves on the ABM Events Council.
Susan Stilwill's career includes being publisher of Fancy Food Magazine; director for The International Specialty Food Show, The Hot & Spicy Show, and Chef des Chef Conference & Trade Show; and she has worked for Bon Appetit, Better Homes & Gardens, and Let's Live as a food scientist and technical food editor. Stilwill is an active member of the Direct Marketing Association and the Incentive Marketing Association. She holds a BS in Journalism and a BS in Food Science from Iowa State University.
Russell Lindsay has been involved in publishing for more than 18 years. He served as Publisher for Douglas Publications before joining Stevens Publishing where he had previously held the position of Executive Vice President for the company. Lindsay has a BBA in Marketing from Baylor University.
Karen Cavallo has more than twenty-five years experience in business-to-business media, and has been involved with the Home Medical Equipment (HME) industry for nearly a decade. She has a BA from State University of New York, Binghamton.
