Irvine, CA/Redmond, WA, Oct. 19, 2009 - 1105 Media Inc. and Microsoft have agreed to extend the licensing contract of the Visual Studio brand, to be used to publish Visual Studio Magazine (VSM) and produce the VS Live! conferences, to January 2013.
The extension is in effect immediately and demonstrates Microsoft’s commitment to 1105 Media as its exclusive publishing partner for these properties. VSM is run by Editor in Chief Michael Desmond.

I couldn’t be happier to continue representing the Visual Studio brands with the magazine and the event. 1105 Media plans to hold VS Live! on the Microsoft campus - for the first time ever - the week of Aug. 2, 2010. The event will include campus tours, a visit to the Microsoft Museum and top-notch Microsoft speakers. For the Microsoft developer this will surely be the must-attend event of the year.
