Top IT Leaders Honored by Government Computer News

FALLS CHURCH, VA., May 19, 2008—Government Computer News (GCN) unveiled the winners of its annual IT Leadership Awards in the May 19 issue. Ten winners from the federal government were recognized for their record of performance, innovation and leadership in implementing technology solutions. Honorees were chosen by a panel of current and former federal IT leaders and industry executives, along with senior GCN editors.

“These are individuals who have demonstrated the talent to innovate, a willingness to take risks and the ability to inspire their co-workers toward higher achievement,” said Wyatt Kash, GCN editor in chief. “And they have earned the respect and admiration of their government colleagues – and in many cases, their superiors – for tackling significant IT initiatives over the past year,” he added.
